Gandoca, Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge
This is where the jungle meets the beach, you will find all kid of animals, we are talking about toucans, monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes, all kinds of birds and much more, the main entrance is by manzanillo, is free to get in but they will ask you for a donation. You can’t carry alcohol or go inside with pets. Inside there is a path where you can go to the manzanillo viewpoint  a cave, and the famous virgin beaches like Pablo Mena (bite beach) and if you want to walk and hike for  around 2 hours you will get to Punta Mona, great place to snorkel. There is another entrance by Sixaola, where you can get to the beach where you will find Sea Turtles on season.
