Join Omar Bucus on a guided hike through the Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge and discover one of the most biodiverse rainforests in Costa Rica. This tour takes you deep into primary and secondary forest, where you’ll learn about the animals, trees, plants, and ecosystems that make this jungle so unique.

Along the trail, you may spot monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes, toucans, iguanas, butterflies, and other fascinating jungle creatures. Your guide will also explain the importance of native trees like mountain almonds, rubber trees, and sandbox trees, as well as the history of cacao plantations and coconut palms that once sustained Indigenous and Afro-Caribbean communities in the area.
